Exciting Times At Instruments 4 Kids Charity!

I had an amazing experience on Saturday… I gave an underprivileged kid a brand new guitar, amp, picks and an Instruments 4 Kids (i4K) lesson binder.

I’ll never forget the look in his eyes when I handed over the guitar and said that I was going to teach him how to play it… courtesy of the generous donors of our newly founded charitable organization, i4K.

This particular boy comes from a family that does not have extra income to pay for music lessons, much less an instrument and equipment needed to learn the electric guitar.

Our lesson was amazing… I wondered who got more out of it, me or him… it took me back to my first lessons many moons ago…

Once I showed him how to hold the pick and strum the strings, his eyes got big in disbelief… It felt great showing this youngster the fundamentals of guitar playing…

Can’t wait to see my new friend again to encourage his growth not only as a musician but as a person with new found skills he already had…

Please follow us on social media, encourage your friends to follow us, like, and share our posts. We’re just musicians trying to help out…

Please share your feedback, good or bad… We can’t do this alone and need all of our friends’ support to make this joyful experience happen for hundreds if not even thousands of kids…
