Instruments 4 Kids is a 100% volunteer driven non-profit charity that gives homeless children the gift of music by providing musical instruments and lessons for free.

Our expert teachers offer the kids a 6 week introductory lesson covering the fundamentals of electric guitar and keyboards.

Our music service, A Blast Bands And DJs®/The Blast Band®, has been serving the Southeast United States for the past 25 years and we decided that it was time to give back to the community by serving those less fortunate.

It’s a scientific fact that exposure to music and music instruction accelerates children’s brain development in the areas responsible for language development, sound, reading, and speech perception. Being that the pre-frontal cortex does not fully develop until the age of 25, these children will developed many life skills including rapport building, engagement, self esteem, confidence and team building.

Instruments 4 Kids, Inc. is 100% funded through tax deductible donations.

The Instruments 4 Kids (i4K) mission is to provide musical instruments and lessons to homeless children living in shelters around metro Atlanta for free.
